SPICY HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1/4 cup Hyve Spicy Honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon chili garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

2. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

3.In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, chili garlic paste, soy sauce, and sesame seeds.

4.Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes more, or until the sauce is thickened and heated through.

5.Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
